The FRH is our twin-top-tube aggressive hardtail, taking inspiration from the legendary ‘huck bike’ era of the early 2000s — when hardtails were built to be ridden hard, jumped high and generally abused.
With a 64° head angle, 76° seat angle and 50mm bottom bracket drop, the FRH has a long, stable and confidence-inspiring stance for attacking steep descents, while the steep seat angle keeps you in a comfortable and efficient position when the trail points upwards.
The geometry is designed around a 29” front / 27.5” rear mullet setup, giving you the stability and rollover of a 29er up front with the shorter, more playful rear end of a 27.5”. The sliding dropouts allow you to adjust the rear wheel position and tailor the wheelbase to suit your riding style.
Dropper-post routing, cable mounts and bottle-cage bosses come as standard, making the FRH just as happy on a full day of trail riding as it is getting thrown around a bike park.
But if you really want to let the FRH off the leash, fit a dual-crown fork, ditch the gears and run it singlespeed. You’ll have one seriously capable — and seriously fun — freeride hardtail.
