A 1988 BMX World Champion and former Mountain Bike Bunny Hop World Record holder, Steve starred in multiple Sprung films and was a regular feature in Dirt Magazine, inspiring a generation of riders to think differently about what was possible on a bike.
Away from competition, Steve also built BMX frames with his dad under the Zima Bikes name during the early 1990s, developing a deep understanding of bicycle design and frame construction.
Steve has been a major influence on the direction of Neil's riding and frame-building journey. Through years of friendship, he has shared invaluable knowledge of frame geometry, fabrication and design principles that continue to influence every frame we build today.
Despite his legendary status, Steve remains as passionate as ever. He can still be found riding bike parks, local trails and jump spots across the UK, proving that true riders never stop pushing their limits.
